About Saphe Tech
Organisations that care for children are asked to hold a great deal of sensitive dietary information — and are then asked to prove they handled it properly. Most are doing that with paper forms, laminated lists and spreadsheets. We built Saphe Tech to give that work a proper home.
Why we exist
When a child with a serious allergy joins a setting, the information about them travels through a lot of hands: an admissions form, a conversation with a parent, a letter from a clinician, a note to the kitchen, a briefing to a supply teacher. Every one of those handovers is a chance for something to be missed or go out of date.
Saphe Tech does not try to make those decisions for anyone. It makes sure that when a member of staff needs the current, agreed record, they can find it in seconds — and that the organisation can later evidence exactly what it held, who saw it, and when it was last reviewed.
What we deliberately do not do
- We do not tell you whether a food is safe for a particular person. Allergen information changes, manufacturing changes, and individual tolerance varies.
- We do not provide medical, clinical, dietary or legal advice, and nothing in the platform should be read as such.
- We do not diagnose, treat, monitor or predict any condition. Saphe Tech is not a medical device and is not registered as one.
- We do not sell, share or profile personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
How we work
Families first
The information in Saphe Tech comes from parents, carers and clinicians. We treat it as theirs: collected with consent, visible to them, and correctable by them.
Honest about limits
We will never claim software can keep someone safe. Saphe Tech organises records and workflows. Judgement stays with trained people.
Built with settings, not at them
Every feature starts from a real administrative problem a school, nursery or care team described to us — not from what is easiest to demo.
